If you have a young singer in grades 2nd-6th that would like to join our group, we have one more "last chance" audition on Monday, August 29 from 3:45-4:15. Then the first class will begin at 430p.m.
Classes on MONDAYS beginning AUGUST 29
For students in grades 2nd-6th
Class time: 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Performances NOV. 19 Melinda Doolittle, DEC. 10 Main Street Christmas, DEC. 12 Recital
Auditions held on August 22 at 4:30 p.m.
Registration due at auditions
Auditions and performances occur only in the Fall (no Spring performances or instruction). At the audition, the students will need to sing one song from memory without accompaniment, much like what you see on TV singing shows. Make your child aware that they may only get to sing a portion of their song due to time constraints, but they should be prepared for the song in its entirety. Students will also be briefly tested on their ability to match pitch and to echo clap simple rhythmic patterns.
