Ticket
Policies
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Normal box office hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- For afternoon performances, the box office opens at 10 a.m.
- For evening performances, the box office opens at 3 p.m.
- All programs, dates and times subject to change without
notice.
ORDERING TICKETS:
DCPAC is happy to provide you with 24-hour access to general box
office information and flexibility with ticket orders.
- For personal service call the box office at (731)
986-2100.
- To pick up or purchase tickets in person, visit the DCPAC
Box Office at 191 Court Square, Huntingdon, TN 38344
- Tickets may also be purchased on the internet and ticket
orders may be mailed or faxed.
- DCPAC accepts all major credit cards including Visa,
Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
- Tickets must be paid for upon purchase. DCPAC does not
hold tickets without payment.
- Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to use a
purchased ticket, please return it to the DCPAC box office at
least 24 hours before the performance. You will receive a tax
donation letter for your efforts in the value of the ticket.
- The Box Office is not open on select legal holidays. Free
parking is available in front of The Dixie, on Huntingdon’s
Court Square, to purchase tickets.
- Single tickets to each performance will go on sale six
weeks before the performance.
- Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.
Reservations are required; please contact The Dixie box
office for more information.
- Student RUSH tickets are available half an hour before
selected shows, pending availability. Valid Student ID is
required.
Handling Fees:
- No handling fee for tickets purchased in person at the
Box Office or over the phone.
- A handling fee of $2.50 will be added to each single
ticket purchased on the internet.
Ticket Prices:
- Prices vary for every performance. Price ranges are
indicated on the DCPAC web site calendar.
- Programs, dates and artists are subject to change
without notice. If an event presented by The Dixie Carter
Performing Arts Center has been canceled or postponed, any
changes will be announced – if time permits – on a
postcard sent to your home, on the website and in
advertisements at local radio and in newspapers.
- Due to fire codes, everyone (including infants) must
have a ticket. There are no exceptions. Children should be
able to sit in a seat quietly throughout the performance.
Unless a performance is clearly geared to children, DCPAC
recommends against bringing babies and young children
(under three) to major performances. Parents are advised
to use their discretion when purchasing tickets for
children. DCPAC is not responsible for the content or
material of performances.
GENERAL POLICIES
- DCPAC has reserved parking spaces for patrons with
disabilities, seating areas for patrons using
wheelchairs and accessible restrooms. DCPAC has two
wheelchairs available for patrons on a first come, first
serve basis. Please inform the Ticket Office of any
special needs at the time of ticket purchase.
- Wireless headsets to amplify sound are available for
the hearing impaired. Please check with your usher for
assistance. A major credit card or driver’s license is
required for deposit; please drop off your headset at
the Box Office upon departure to retrieve your deposit.
- DCPAC prohibits cameras, videos, cellular phones,
alcohol, food or drink in the performance hall. The use
of cameras and recording devices is prohibited by the
contracts with the performers and their organizations.
- The use of tobacco products is not permitted in the
building. Pagers with beepers should be left at the Will
Call window.
- Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate time in
the performance at the discretion of the operations
manager.
- Prior to performances and during intermission, DCPAC
Concessions sell coffee, water, sodas, and snacks.
Please note: No food or drink is permitted inside the
theatre.
- There is no specific dress code. While most people
“dress up” for evening performances, a number of patrons
dress casually whenever they come to DCPAC. For
weeknights and matinee performances, people tend to
dress more casually.
- Restrooms are located on every level of the DCPAC.
- Each floor is connected by an elevator and stairs.
- The Dixie Carter Museum and The Hal Holbrook Museum
are located on the Lower Level.
- Seating Capacity is 471.
- Lost and Found – Call DCPAC at 731-986-2100 and
leave your name, telephone number, a detailed message
about the item you lost and what performance you were
attending. Someone will look for the item and get back
with you as soon as possible.
- Parking is available behind the DCPAC.
