FIDDLER ON THE ROOF” Set to Show on The Dixie’s Big Screen

Part of The Dixie’s Musical Film Festival sponsored by CB&T Financial

The Musical Film Festival at The Dixie (Sponsored by CB&T Financial) continues on Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (starring Topol, Molly Picon, and Leonard Frey). You don’t want to miss this favorite on the big screen at The Dixie!

Filmed on location in Eastern Europe the spectacular screen adaptation of one of Broadway’s most successful and best-loved musicals is a celebration of a people’s survival. Tevye (Topol) is a poor Jewish milkman who has tried to instill traditional Jewish beliefs in his daughters, especially when it is time for them to marry. But times are changing and the girls respectively opt to marry a poor childhood sweetheart, a revolutionary, and a non-Jew rather than heed the advice of the matchmaker.

Tickets for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF are $5/person at door; no advance tickets available. For more information, contact The Dixie at 731-986-2100 or www.dixiepac.net. See you at The Dixie!
